•
Some common inhalants include spray paint, air freshener, glue, and butane.
•
Inhalants can impair a person’s motor (movement), visual (vision), cognitive (brain) and aural (hearing) functions. Additionally, a user may become intoxicated, experiencing dizziness and slurred speech. Inhaling a high concentration of chemical fumes can even lead to death.
